Maybe a stupid question but, if you have both IXD2 skin and IXC skin enabled, will this solve the problem temporarily until this is fixed?

I would wager that it would, thats how i have it running and no problems here.

Guys I really dont no whats going on with this tower issue
it works every time I try it on my system, I've tried it with different
mods RUB other skins ect and I can't make It not work.
I dont no why it doesn't work for some of you guys the problem
is I can make skins but I can't do much more when it comes to modding so some help may be in order.
All I've done is pack the tga files into the dat files nothing else but
I'm wondering if its possible the cable fix in the IXC Turm files could be making a difference to the way these files are working?

Have i missed a topic!? AFAIK the cable fix is only for the Type VII, at present, as the Type IX uses the same turm models on the different hulls for the IX. making cable correction on the IX. more complicated to rectify.
