About the whole passenger liner controversy, I don't have that much of a problem with sinking them as long as they're enemy and not neutral - primarily since it wouldn't have been "in character" for a Uboat skipper to provoke the US (and his superiors) like that. Sinking enemy liners just doesn't seem to have been controversial. I read a book recently about survivors of the "Empress of Britain", and while they were sad to lose their ship few of them seemed to regard the attack as a war crime.

You've probably seen that pic of the MVP hospital ship. I almost didn't include it but then decided to let it stay and trust the MVP's users to swap out the skin by 1941 using the all-camo MVP Mid-Late War Edition. That way you won't get an armed Red Cross vessel.

Hi everyone....check out the cloning thread...I was able to clone a JU 87 using the instructions.....I suppose it is only fitting that this be the first object in the cloning library.....I'll have to sign up to get some free web hosting!

That's great news. If only we could select all ID's with a dedicated cloning program and automatically replace them with randomly-generated substitutes. That would make it easy for modders to create lots of new ships or planes that would have virtually no chance of conflicting with one another.

That is an AWESOME idea!

I wish I knew more about Visual Basic....I would write a program myself....

I am changing the first two and last two bytes of each string, so the chances of duplication are I think 1 in 10000....not too likely...

Just added clone of B24 Liberator to cloning library.....I MIGHT have figured out where all of the string ID's are located, at the bottom of the .dat file....if I am right, it should make finding the ID's and cloning a whole lot easier!
