bug?

I've never experienced this either, but once recently it said '0 renown' in the patrol summary. However, the renown had correctly been added to my total renown in the 'office', enabling me to use it on crew/equipment etc.

Hi,
I have never encountered before i read the Community manual - but i'd read in other threads people complaining that they weren't getting recognised for tonnage on certain missions, so i thought "better to be safe than sorry" and it sounded like a find/fix because it had been included in the WIKI. It's one thing to have to sail all the way 'round Denmark, but then I get stuck in a "1x TC only" zone on the way into Keil (due to the proximity of land). Oddly, it doesn't seem to be a problem on the way out. |

But, I should say, the land proximity thing has saved my life. There is a small island to the northwest of Scotland that doesn't show up on the map when zoomed out, and I would've crashed into it if I hadn't investigated whey the TC suddenly dropped. |

But it sure was a nice welcome home after a long and testing patrol, that Aces of the Deep offered us... Anyway, the game is released and all our wishes were not fullfilled. |

Serious lack of reality :-j |
Händel had written numerous 'wind ensemble' arrangements of some of his older works, especially after his appointment as Kappelmeister for the Elector of Hannover (later to become King George I following the death of Queen Anne in 1714). Such arragements were of need due to the King's desire for outdoor and 'traveling' music (violoncellos and contrabases are hard to lug around, especially with early 18th century transportation.)
In fact, Franz Josef Haydn, the composer of Das Deutchlandlied (Fanfare01 in SH3) wrote various wind ensemble arrangements of the piece, and was inspired so after a visit to London, where such ensembles were more common. EDIT: Forgot to mention: I am using Händel's arrangement of the English song 'Stand Round My Boys' (1745), which was written for both chamber orchestra and wind ensemble. I use the wind ensemble version. |
I recall docking at St Nazaire once. Actualy it was a case of major brain-fade as I was docking in I think June '40, whilst the port was still in French hands. I wasn't attacked at all on the way in and the nurses and the band were there to greet me. I'm not sure what the French thought about the whole thing. We waited until dark and slunk out to sea again. I didn't bother entering it in the log......

I slide my Uboat nicely into the dock and promptly crash into the wall.:nope:
|
Time consuming to dock at a specific pen. So when i am within 30-20 km i press ESC. I am too impatient for the next patrol. O k , I drink a beer at port!;)

A necro thread of over two years standing :o

With a post from Abraham, to boot.

It´s great to have a welcoming party with orchestra and everything after a long patrol in the lonely atlantic, so that's why i always dock from the pen where i left, also increases the chance to find more ships if i return manually than teleporting after completing the objectives

First attempt at docking in a sub pen with U35 at Lorient...
Made it in there eventually!! http://img184.imageshack.us/img184/2...endwellua2.jpg |
