I should spank myself for forgetting this fantastic sci-fi series

As a genuin trekkies I should have remembered it earlier.

I'm talking about the Star Trek series TOS, TNG, DS9 and Voy.

I use to watch the movies and then the series.

Good Old "Days of Our Lives". Susan ( Elvis's mum by Stefano ) . Her episodes were the BEST.

When you're stuck in hospital you get hooked on the Soaps. :)

Got every episode on a HD.

There were some Martial arts series in the 70'ies

I think the most famous of them was Kung Fu Starring David Carradine

There were also this smash hit kung Fu Fighting by Carl Douglas.

Almost interesting trivia, Space: 1999 was intended to be a direct follow on to the series UFO.

3%
In a future where the elite inhabit an island paradise far from the crowded slums, you get one chance to join the 3% saved from squalor.

I'm 6 episodes in with 2 to go, I thought this was going to be a load of tripe and I would be turning it off pretty damned quick but, it has turned out to be quite a decent watch so far. If anyone has seen the TV Serial Squid Game then this is a less violent series on how to be eliminated from achieving their goal of being in the elite 3% who make it through the tests. It was made in 2016 so it isn't a rip off of the violence ridden Squid Game, this TV Series focuses on brain power and sometimes having to work as a unit to get through a test, the wrong answer to a question or scenario will get them eliminated, not killed but, sent back inland to where they came from. There are some violent scenes and some scenarios that involve death but that isn't the normal way a test is conducted.

Has a modern feel to it which is rather at odds with the period look at times. For example, when under cannon fire from a shore battery somebody on the ship yells "Incoming!" I'm sure that nobody back then would ever even have heard this expression.

If you can get past this then it's a cracking series with great visuals, stories and music
