Waddaheck was that? "Silvester"...? I decided to surprise my parents and crashed into their appartment one hour before midnight - I drove, as usual, on bicycle - just wearing Bluejeans, T-Shirt and a Fleece sweater. After five minutes I stopped and took off the sweater, it was too warm since there was a strong wind and so cycling, even electrical, was a bit more sporting than usual, and then I drove through the winter night, only in T-Shirt. :o I am used to have New Years Eve in the range of zero degrees... Last night at midnight it was over 17°C. :dead:
 Had a walk two hours ago, and found a dead squirrel. Thankfully, none of "mine". A bit small it was, possibly born last year. It laid on a wide open garage backyard, no injuries or parasites, and well-fed. Must have gotten killed by panic. There was paper from firecrackers on the ground all around. I have the suspicion that some sick perverts hunted it to death. I took it aside into a nearby park and covered it with dead leafs, I just cannot let them lie around to get smashed by tires.
A "funeral" for a tiny lovely creature. Lousy way to start into the year.
