You need to start work on your next paper. "Why BB guns are NOT toys"

Hopefully somewhere in there are the words "you'll shoot your eye out..."

That's the gist of the article, mupac. The video makes the point a little more poignantly.

In 45+ years of handling/shooting guns, I've had misfires, misfeeds, cookoffs, and once a runaway gun, but I've never had an accidental discharge ever. I credit my grandfather for that, The first thing he said when he gave me my first rifle (it was a single shot 22) " If I ever catch you with your finger on the trigger when when it's not pointed at the target, I'll break it" (my finger not the gun), and being 5-6 yrs old, I believed him. And to this day my finger never goes into the trigger guard until I'm ready to pull the trigger.

This...

My father in law took my son when he was 5 to go help him at his auto shop. He asked him to get a Phillips head and he gave him a wrench instead. FIL jokingly said, "Look, if you aren't gonna do the job right, I'll have to fire ya."

They get back to the house and the boy says, "Pop said he was gonna set me on fire!!!"

:haha: Little kids can be like that :Kaleun_Thumbs_Up:

My little cousin went to a Cubs baseball game maybe 2 years ago and he got to go see a player for the Cubs when he went up to the stands to sign stuff and greet fans.

Well, this player (forgot who it was, I would have to ask my aunt) signed my little cousin's hat. Everyone else was happy for him but my cousin, being 4 at the time, proclaimed angrily "That guy wrote on my hat!!!!!"

:haha: We went to a RailCats game in Gary on Friday too. The newest edition to their family (he's 2) was also quite a joker. That's a story for another time though
