I'm hoping that those who have experienced problems when using this mod will have relief with the corrected Sensor_Sub_US.dat file which i think is in proper order now. ...and to those who are not having problems...hope you are enjoying the little splash made by your scopes. :salute:

NICE work :Kaleun_Applaud:

Several ways

It should be a unique ID number though.

Now is working very well in my FOTRSU 1.46.

Best regards.

I just finished testing with the new FOTRSU update preview. Glad to say that all went well and the splash mod works just fine.
Latest file has been uploaded and is fully compatible with 1.46 and the yet unnamed update (I think they were thinking about 1.6...something)

Ahoy, Canonicus... :Kaleun_Cheers:

Would think that it should be doable... :hmmm: :yep:

Only differences are that instead of the U.S. Fleet boats (S class, included here.. :yep:) it would be dealing with the Kriegsmarine Uboats, instead. The same methods would apply to looking at the bones & such, of them, just as you would with the U. S.'s subs... same X, Y, Z factors... as I understand it... thinking in 3 dimensional terms here.

Step 1 would be getting the wake effects on level with water level the up/down axis, the Y axis...) to the scope... after that, making sure it's centered between the port/starboard axis (X axis...) & the finally the bow/stern axis (Z axis..).

Would love to see this applied to the Uboats, as well.. but.. that's just a respectful request... as I believe it could be doable.

Mhmm... for that 1, it may be lost to the bermuda triangle... unless another sub simmer has a copy of that.. I believe the creator for it was w_clear...

I checked a back up source to see if in their repository, if they might have a copy available, but.. no such luck.

Regards,

M. M.

:Kaleun_Salute:

Might check with 's7rikeback' & see if they may have a copy, that they haven't had an opportunity to include in their mod repository.

If that is the right mod, want to say I think the creator would be ''w_clear''. but in checking the repository, there were only 2 mods there & neither were for a wake splash.

It could be possible that s7rikeback may have that particular mod, but hasn't had the chance to add it in. last I chatted with them, via DM... they had a mod I was looking for that s7rikeback had, but.. as I said, no time to have added it in to the vault. Understandable, as I know he is involved in a lot of projects... FotRS being just 1 of them. :yep:

M.M.,
I'm sure it could be done, but I will respectfully decline because i have no wish work with U-boats because of my deeply held moral and ethical beliefs.
I realize were just talking about a simulated U-Boat, but in the end its still about killing allied seaman and sinking their ships to support an evil regime.

Maybe some might say I'm making much ado about nothing, but that's just how i feel.

Couldn't you have another approach to the phenomenon here ... by making a little effort because here it is a video game ... your contribution will be welcome and will bring a stone to the edifice right? ...
you have already proved your skills to us here ... why waste such a potencielle .. I find it a shame ..
