That's the one I was talking about, the v1.3. Not good, imo...

Try adding this to your game:

choose the "Silent Hunter 4 1.4.exe" file, download it, copy it into your game's "root" folder. Back off an and all mods, and run the file. You should clear your My Documents / SH4 files also, if the patch doesn't do it for you. You will lose all campaigns and other saves doing this.

It is recommended however, that you purchase the "Uboats Add-On", and NOT the Steam version, since it only patches their own version of the game.
