Something fishy about that stormtrooper...........:hmm2:
Oh yeah, He ain't a clone. (maybe he's another character that's pinched a suit for a disguise) And as for the new lightsabre............. Arise, Lord Lancelot. :haha: |

Technology is not going to advance that far until some sense of order has been restored enough. This is all just guess work, of course, I'm not really clued up on the EU of Star Wars but I know that the Galactic Empire was a colossal entity, so something that big collapsing would cause a massive vacuum (pardon the pun). |

no frankly the trailer looked awful, what's up with all the long fade to black parts, 88 second trailer with 80 seconds of black
The Void |
I think he stole the sword concept from Bleach.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tlSgxLE5ydk The bad guys were the Terran Federation who used drug control and their military space fleet to expand and put down resistance, the odd massacre as well. Any how by the end of series two the Terran Federation was at war with a invading alien force, start of series three we learn the Federation won but at a heavy cost causing the empire to shrink as they rebuilt their fleet. By the start of series four we learn the Federation has created a new drug that turns people into dodo's and we must assume the Federation was on the rise again. So I think Oberon could be on the money in SW world. :03: |
Now all we need is Servalan and we're on to a winner! :haha: :03:

Impossible to judge something on the grounds of nothing.

The cast must be so old they'll be using light sabre crutches and walking sticks to get around. |
I understood the poll as how we like the trailer.
I like the trailer :03: I'm lucky enough not to be a fan. Enjoyed the original trilogy, enjoyed the prequels (Episode I was a bit boring though) and enjoyed the Star Trek reboot. They're entertaining movies. That's what movies should be |
Han will probably return to the berth on Mos Eisley and find the Fallcon up on blocks.
Trade it to that Toydarian junk dealer for a couple of slaves. One of them could end up being the chosen one. No, not chosen to balance the force. Chosen to stick a light saber in Disney's purchase of the franchise. I think they'd have been better off getting Joss Whedon instead of Me'sa gonna mess it up Jar Jar Abrams. Greedo Lucas is laughing all the way to the bank. |
the trailer looks good, I especially like the X-wing fighters.
As to the movie, I will reserve judgment until it comes out. |

Too bad they didn't make Brian Daley's Han Solo trilogy into movies.

I think they could do worse than to incorporate parts of the EU into it, (no, Skybird, not that EU, calm down), from what I've skim read it's got some merit to it.
