That's why!

Though taking off my shoe maybe would cause collateral damage, so in cases like this I personally would opt for the slap in the face plus the firing squad waiting before the door.

I refer you to Platapus' statement:

And I bet you weren't so happy when it was Bush who had shoes thrown at him

But I won't hold anything against you :)

I honestly thought it was pretty amusing when Bush had a shoe thrown at him...but Clinton made my day....

I stand with AVG in this thread.

Well, you know what they say...if the shoe fits.

I think the point was that no matter how badly we may think of someone in the public eye (and I think very poorly of her, when I think of her at all), wishing physical harm on someone is just wrong. If you would like to see her beaned with footwear, which might be funny, would you also like to see her lose an eye to the right type of shoe. Crippled? In a coma? Dead?

If so, that might say more about your qualities as a human being that hers.

Well....I don't mean her serious harm or death or anything...but I think that it would be amusing if she had been hit. :hmmm:

They have regular drills for this sort of thing at the state department.
Hil-dog was in no danger and showed how spry the old gal still is.

Not to mention, ducking prosecution for so many years leaves you with a sixth sense.:O:

If you think women aren't tough...
Visit a department store on black Friday.

Well said

Personally, I think violence should only be used as a last resort, no matter what the situation is.

I'm no shoe expert, but if they were high-heels, at the right angle, they could've taken an eye out. It would've been as funny as when that hockey player had his throat opened up by someone else's skate.

Personally, I think that it's amusing that she had a shoe thrown at her (and she does too, judging from how she handled it), but I'm glad she didn't get hit.

Thank the stars it was a sneaker and not a sabot.:yep:

Was this a spontaneous protest, or a planned terrorist attack? I'm sure help will arrive soon.

I agree.

If they don't respect us, why should we respect them?

There are people I don't respect. But that doesn't mean I want to see them physically injured.

The woman callously does not give a damn about anything then her own political career. There is a trail of people who received physical harm(dead) from rocket launchers. The lies from the top started forthwith to save ones aspirations of the WH. That shows the quality of her human being as well as this administration and a good idea how things operate on Capitol Hill. There is no defense for shoe throwing. There is even less for her in actions, cover up and subsequent head injury from bumping her head. I really don't want her beaned by shoe. I want her aspirations to the WH to stop.
