Thanks for the info on the gap depth scales mod. But when I try to put NewUIs before OHII, i get that damn screen mess. Ugh!

Open up the Generic Patcher and read all the patch notes (Notes= and Files=) of each patch you have enabled. Double click them to view if they don't say None

Almost all of them have none in both fields (mostly the bugfix patches). Some have some files e.g. the independent engine controls but no notes.

I focused specifically on the torpedo patches. From what I've seen, only the following patches have something in the files section but nothing in the notes section. I tried double clicking, no effect.

From SHSim Torpedo patches:

1. Torpedo premature chance fix
2. Torpedo circle runner calculation
3. Torpedo gyro problems chance fix
4. Torpedo gyro deviation calculations
5. Torpedo depth keeping problems fix
6. Torpedo impact angle fix
7. Torpedo dud chance fix

I used the torpedos set to impact detonation exe patch and also chose the option in the UI options application, is that causing problems?

EDIT: I was experiencing this condition when i used an alternative mod order (see post no. 17), its possible with the new mod order (post 24) this issue will go away. I haven't been able to test yet as i experienced a CTD before encountering anything in the first patrol

Newer EDIT: The issue is still there. Just tested the TDW Tutorial mission. 5 out of 6 torps were circular runners. both with manual and auto TDC

Update: I cut out the crew uniforms mod and the updated depth scales mod (the gap one) and now I can start the campaign. Still, suffered a CTD on the first patrol. This is the current mod order and list:

Looking at your mod soup you are missing the mod
FX Update torpedoes (modified for torpedoes failure patches)

Within your extracted TDW_GenericPatcher folder you'll find a MODS folder. Within this MODS Folder you'll find a

All the torpedoes modified for torpedoes failure patches (GenericPatcher add-on).7z file
Decompress this file and youl have 4 Mods

FX Update torpedoes (modified for torpedoes failure patches)
FX Update torpedoes - MagDet range 3m (modified for torpedoes failure patches)
Stock torpedoes (modified for torpedoes failure patches)
Stock torpedoes - MagDet range 3m (modified for torpedoes failure patches)

and a readme.txt

active one of the four mods
the first or second named "FX Update torpedoes..." have to be after
FX_Update_0_0_21_ByTheDarkWraith which is listed in your mod soup as stated in the readme file.

with doing so you'll have realisic torpedo failures but not mentioned 5 out of 6

I had a similar mod list when I had CTDs. One or both of the intertia mods is not needed anymore. The inertia problems and CTDs was discussed under the threads of open horizons, or sober's mod list, or TDW SH5 patcher or Multi UIs for SH5. I started a new game in the bunker and all of a sudden I am getting CTDs after updating the mods list.
