Ah, the early days, back when George was truly funny.

They only wear them to keep their ankles warm.

Did BossMark say he was going to streak on centre court this year for 100 cans of beer. :hmmm:

Spiced_Rum 06-18-13 02:50 PM

I think he is doing a duet with Cliff Richard if it rains.

STEED 06-18-13 02:51 PM

Both in the buff? :haha:

TarJak 06-18-13 04:34 PM

You sound way to keen on that STEED.:O:

Heads up, I think the South-East is about to get their first heavy storms of the year. Spanish plume seems to have spun up some convective action in northern France, but instead of it bouncing off the forcefield in the English Channel and going North-East to Holland, it's actually coming across on a North/North-Easterly course.

Looks like the biggest one of the three groups is going to take the usual route to Holland though.

I think I'm going to get damp on the way home this morning....

Think I will just stick with the beer :yep:

Oberon 06-19-13 11:31 AM

They all bounced off the forcefield again!

Distant rumbles but nothing solid, a bit of rain but nothing decent.

Another large cell spinning up over Paris way at the moment, showing some nice meso tendancies, but will probably hit the forcefield and bounce off into the North Sea again... :nope:

36 degrees Celsius outside, 27 in the house .. arrrgh
I guess the best insulation does not help you after more than 3three days, unless you have a cave, or a big hole in the ground.

 <- i'm not embarassed, it is just hot.

STEED 06-20-13 09:15 AM

It was the big one yesterday and no where near what the Mail/Express said. Rather sticky & humid it was, bit fresher today along with some light rain...cough. Everyone got that wrong, heavy rain my beer belly.

Jimbuna 06-20-13 09:31 AM

I was in 37șClast week but that was in Turkey :)

If I sea a heatwave up here I'll be sure to wave back :03:

Walked out of work and it was pissing it down :/\\!!

Oberon 06-27-13 09:23 AM

Well, my Uncle just put forward the possibility of a mini-heatwave (temps of 27-28C) beginning in a week or so, so watch this space, he's usually pretty correct about these things.
