I think this is more common than most people think. A long time ago, 1979, I saw something and to this day I have no clue what it was . My wife and two other people also saw it. My best description would be an invisible aircraft that was on fire. And there was no sound. It went straight across the night sky like it was on a wire. Now I admit, at the time myself and the other gentleman were smoking stuff that came in a plastic bag, but my wife and his were not. And we all saw the same thing. Years later I read a newspaper article about someone who lived 200 miles from us who saw something similar.

Forgot something.

Before I made my post I remembered an article in a danish newspaper the article was from day before yesterday and was about an Airbus 320 that almost collided with some kind of UFOs when it was about to land in Glasgow 2nd December last year. They didn't see it on radar.

I was thinking about that article before I wrote my first posting.

I have asked some of my neighbors and either they was watching TV/INTERNET 'cause none of them was outside at that moment.

Markus, The flash of light you saw in the sky was not a UFO. Swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus.
