Very sorry to hear about Dylan's passing. My symapthy to you and your family. May the memories of Dylan remain long and well with you...
<O> |
I'm so sorry for your loss. There's nothing like coming home after a crappy day, and then your dog comes up to you, and it's like nothing ever happened.

my condoleances Jim, I am afraid I won't be far behind you. My older dog Watson who is now 13 1/2 has really slowed down over the past year. He is now almost totally blind and deaf. I dont think he will last another six months. We have had him since he was a pup and he is a member of the family.

Although four legs and definitely not human, they are nevertheless always an integral and loved part of the family, aren't they. We/my parents had dogs ourselves, I know how sad it is to not have them tapping around any longer.
I'm feeling with you. |
Sincerest condolences on the loss of your friend Jim.
15.5 is a ripe old age for a quadruped, equivalent to 75 in human years. Some say that they are just dumb animals. I pity those who see them that way. Most of them have more brains than their human counter parts and hearts as large as the universe. |
Very very sorry Jim...
I'm dreading the day that I have to go through this. My Boston Terrier is 5 right now and I love her to death. Couldn't imagine..... :wah: |
so sorry Jim they do find a way into our hearts

Goodby Dylan.:wah:

Sorry, Sir.
I won't bother with..words...as that never means much if I don't know you but I am indeed sorry. Dogs are the best of us, I think, sometimes and we'd be smarter if we could somehow follow their lead. |
Sorry for your loss. You know I love my dog, he's seem me through some tough times. He is a 3rd generation pet, his mother died about six months after having him. I thought I could never love a pet like I did his mom, but I think I love him as much. Get you another when you're ready.
You can know you gave him love and a good home for many years. |
Sorry to hear about your loss,
Us Dylans are noble folk |
Sorry to hear about your loss, Jim.
Seems that it has been a great companion for the 15 years you had him, kudos to you and ofcourse Dylan for giving eachother so much joy. HunterICX |
Sorry for your loss. many years ago I said goodbye to my old 17 year old mongrel called Snakey. He had seen better days and a tumour had got the better of him. Still, it was not easy to let go, eventhough I knew it was for the best.
I've also had to say goodbye to a 3 year old Labrador retriever, called Guinness (she was black and smooth!) She suffered from epilepsy. It started with one attack per month and escalated to almost every third day in the end. Everytime she had an attack her condition and immune system fell. In the end she was a wreck, despite her being on every type of medicine and diet the vets could think of. It was heart breaking. We had to have her put down. Even though it was the best thing to do, I still felt like a criminal, but to see an innocent animal suffer so much was intolerable. The vets could do no more. We found out later, that the poor dog was the result of far too much inbreeding. So I know what you are going through. You have lost a member of the family and everything reminds you of him. Hope the fond memories soon outweigh the sad. All the best to you and the family. |
Hate to hear the news Jim. Condolences to you & your family.
