Interesting, that happened about 5km from where I live. Never even read the news, probably because the mentioned Berlin Newspapers are terrible tabloids.

As for the NK embassy: It is pretty close to where the Führerbunker used to be (Now a parking lot and a lawn where dogs take a crap. Gotta love the people of Berlin.) and is one of the uglier buildings in that neighbourhood. As for the birds and the flowers mentioned: We have had one of the warmest decembers since decades. Following directly on the driest november ever since weather data is recorded. Kinda understandable that flowers get confused. In fact some of the trees and flowers in the park near my appartment are showing first signs of colour, too. Probably a token of respect to my failing health, since I fear I might be coming down with a cold.
