Heinz, Like to have you back in fold again, but take care of business first. I'll get Per to post something over on the SH4 forum when WAW Pacific is up. Von Good Hunting, FUBAR295 |

Dieter Danziger :salute: PS Jimbuna et al, how does one get to post their own avatar here???? Mine is above. |
See here:
http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...43&postcount=6 Funny you should ask Jim, as, while his rank title is unique, his avatar is one of the standards. |

IMPORTANT: When registering both at the SHIII Atlantik WaW OR the SHIV-based WaW-Pacific sites YOU must follow the rule of choosing user name reflecting the possible name of a commander of that time. We have experienced (and still are) numerous spammers registring creating lots of cleanout work every week. What I mean is that any calling him/herself dwrlwadda, viagrachnker, splotirdby etc etc..... will automatically be rejected. Just take a look at the existing user names and you will get the picture:cool:. "Uncle Charlie" :arrgh!: |

Very true. Having played with WaW since 2006 I think and am still very attached to it. Yes, real life (oooohhh:oops:) catches up on many of us working the sites but it is still alive. For SHIII it is most likely that we are starting up in a smaller scale than in the earlier days. I mean we had many flotillas at many theatres running at the same time following the time of the war. Some of us has run flotillas for up to 4 years now as commanders. As said the WaW-Pacific is definitely coming shortly. We are using SHIV1.5 with TMO2,5 & RSRD mods. Very Addictive!!!!!!!!!!!!:03: //OB |
Last weekend we started a trial run of WaW-Pacific to iron out the procedures for gameplay and the site. Unfortunately both WolvesAtWar and WolvesAtWar-Pacific (same server) went down yerterday. We are trying to contact the owner to see if we can get a status update. Hang in there.

Alfred,
Thanks for the update, I came in here to see if I could find out why I was getting the 505 message when trying to log in. Good luck with getting us back up. Heini (james) |
Bad news, sorry to hear that. Anything new on why the servers went down??? Hope they were up soon, so we can finish the trial run on WaW-Pac and start the real campaign.
|
Nothing yet.:wah: Some of us hang out on Facebook, and are communicating with each other there trying to figure out what to do.:hmmm:

Herr Keitzer
Glad to hear that the site will be back. WAW is one of the greatest aspects to the entire SH experience. To those who are thinking of getting involved I highly recommend giving it a shot...if you have the time of course because you can lose yourself very easily (for hours and hours at a time if you want). Looking forward to the day that I can get back to sea. Cheers Reinhart Hayden |
I just finished my patrol 23 cruise and the war in the Atlantic is ending, didn't think it would take the site with it. Am also waiting for my registration to be accepted for the Pacific campaign.
Lost with out SH, well not SHV so much, but definitely the others, though I don't play SHI any more. Heini, James, Edwin. |

As of 2200Z 28-JAN-2012: Site remains down. Heard back from von. He's in the dark too -- has been trying to reach Sean (BdU) for a status, but no response so far.

The tremors are starting, withdrawal is a an ugly spectre.
Guess I'll just have to make do with installing the SH4 Uboat addon I bought from Amazon last night. Heini et al. |

I reached out to BdU via cell and waiting to hear back from him. Good Hunting, FUBAR295 aka von |
