He's a weird and funny guy :haha: I just can't help not to NOTICE that :)

A simple view of your posting history says otherwise, let alone the content of your post. You just can't help your self. It seems to me that you feel wronged by him and want to take part in some form of reciprocity. You don't like him. Okay, we get that. Do you think that I like everyone on this forum? You'd be wrong if you said yes.

Hell, Steve and 1480 were pretty rude to me on GT last week. I found it upsetting, and yes, it kind of changed my view of some people. Am I still a bit irked over it? Yes. Am I going to chase Steve around the boards? No. Why? Because I'm not 10 years old. He likes SubSim. I like SubSim. We both have a right to enjoy it, and to do so without dragging an argument across the forums. No one wants to read that. Same goes here.

I couldn't agree more. I am fascinated by the history and the game makes it come alive. Hope to post more on this in future.

No, you're digging too deep Takeda. Everything is much more simple. Since he's a long time weirdo to me, I like to tease him a bit :haha: You know - fisting his chest - cheking if he's still in his own firm stance in what he believes is right :DL But this is not an offense, I am used to be this way all my life. :yep:

Whatever you say, PapaKilo. The bottom line is that you can't let Steve be, and decided to hijack u_crank's thread today in order to take a few swipes at him. And along those lines, I think it's about time that you let the guy's thread go. He hasn't done anything to you, and this is not a very nice welcome.

BTW, U_crank if you're not another Steve I welcome you! =]

Thanks, I think. I had my mailbox run over once. I hope you guys can shake hands but I'll be staying out of it.

5 infractions on the last month for the same reasons is really too much. We want this to stay a nice place for everyone, and while we have tolerance for some teasing, there are limits to what I'm ready to accept -even in Xmas time. As the saying in Spain goes: "I hope you take as much peace with you to the brig, as you leave here"

Well done Hitman. I hate some of the animosity that goes on here. Thankfully it doesn't happen often. Welcome aboard u crank, ignore the doughnuts and enjoy your stay kaleun :salute:

Best regards.

Thanks for welcome Fubar2Niner. Glad to be aboard. I enjoy the odd doughnut myself. My personal policy is along this line " If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men." After all 'tis the season of good will. Peace and regards.

I second that.

I hate young whippersnappers and have physical scars as to my reasons why.

What Sailor Steve said.

Many "old salts" seem to flock here like seagulls. The pace and the friendly, helpful nature of people like Jimbuna, Sailor Steve, and many others seem to suit us.

Welcome, u crank

Thanks for the welcome, Kafka BC. This "old salt" likes it here already. As a long time "lurker", I don't recall seeing that before. Just lucky I guess. Hope everybody's OK. As a seasoned ol' crank, I've noticed you can't have too many friends.

Sailor Steve 12-29-11 12:04 PM

I would ask "How seasoned?", but we have a thread for that sort of thing that you might (or might not) want to check out.

There are more of us old salts than you might expect from a website dedicated to a game. :sunny:

One old salt here, and not ashamed to admit it, here's to the ol' buggers :woot:

Best regards.

No need to read it all if you don't want to. Just post in it if you like. :D

Great to be young, ain't it! I'll work on that post. To quote a fellow worker who's 68, "I like puppies and babies, don't care for dogs and teenagers.":haha: Just kidding of course. I was a puppy once.

I just posted a thread in GT about seeing my dad on his 84th birthday, reconnecting with my daughter and meeting one of my grandkids for the first time. We can lie to ourselves, we can even lie to the mirror sometimes, but we can't lie to our adult children. :dead:

So true, my friend. I have 32 and 35 year olds. They keep me honest. Also 11 year old grandson. Really glad you got to see your dad. Lost mine 1970. He was only 51. Aircraft mech. in RCAF. Served in England in WW2. Worked on Wellingtons and Lancs. Browsed through thread, great pics. As a Canuck, I'm impressed with your neice! Keep your stick on the ice mate!
