Things that annoys me:

*when ppl talk lyk dis
*excessive OMGOMGOMG
*when people sets themselves as available on msn but are actually AFK (it makes me paranoid sometimes...)
*when someone on msn says brb/afk, then disappears off msn after a while and never return for hours without popping in a reason, it makes me paranoid or worried that **** had hit the fan on their end or that it's something I said |:
*trolls
*excessive capslocking when it's not really -that- necessary (happens a fair few times on a forum I moderate)
*when people try to take moderator matters into their own hands and start stupid wars/hate club against trolls and stuff and drag their friends into it

oh yeah and I hate chainmails and stuff that says crap like 'OMG you MUST read this or a crazyass clown with a chainsaw will come and kill you in your sleep!!11!ONE'
And people who Types Like This All The Time.

There, rant over. Now I can get on with my night :yep: (I do rant a lot, but ranting is good at times :hmmm: )

Hrm... annoying online habits?

* Listing occupation as "Annoying Bastard". :O:
* Replacing with c's with k's (e.g. 'krashkart') :D
* Forum topics titled "HELP ME PLEEEEEEEEaaaaaaAAAAaZE!!!!!!!" or similar
* Spelling 'the' as 'teh' deliberately and with great frequency
* The inherent lack of lolwhales on the internet

That last one is more a gripe... sosumi. :p2:

EDIT: Edited to assuage Gargamel's grief. :D

There are still no lolwhales on the internet. :(

Hey! At least with me it's accidental... just a typo.

Feuer Frei! 03-13-11 08:31 PM

Thanks for sharing your annoyances with us crashcart.

You know, i totally agree.
And what gets me more is the profanity used in a lot of them! Why don't they censor these or edit posts? Heck, you've got kids that read that crap :nope:

If your kids are on the internet they probably already know every swear word in existence. :88)

Agree to a certain extent. Not trying to go off tangent here or be arguementative but not all kids want to see stuff like that.
Infact, it's not just the swear words that get me, it's also the racist remarks, Nazi sympathising and personal attacks that get me more.
YouTube is a freeforall, where any point of view seems to be ok.

STEED 03-14-11 11:32 AM

I'm not interested on what annoying habits go on the Internet as I'm too busy keeping an eye on my shifty Government and sending them letters voicing my concern or outrage. ;)

Herr-Berbunch 03-14-11 11:48 AM

LOLWhales do exist!

No. 1 t'interweb hate (and text messages) for me has to be alternating cApS aNd LoWeRcAsE - it is stupid, it provides no purpose other than to make it difficult to read and I usually refuse to do so.

The internet should be licensed, and have a minimum age limit of say 18 (but ideally 25) - if you don't vote, drive, pay taxes or the phone/internet bill then stay offline. Unless you're one of the more sensible, mature youths we have here at subsim.com - so maybe a test would be more appropriate, with regular checks?
