I'd argue that quantity does not equal quality - is the startling difference between right-leaning and left-leaning posts reflected in the titles, or does the use of inflammatory rhetoric in topic titles reflect an anti-[position] bias? As an example: The thread entitled "Obamacare is still unconstitutional" is clearly an anti-Obama position, but reflects in the search results as an appearance of the search string "Obama." On a similar note, if a topic existed about "Bush-league baseball" - that would also show up in a "Bush" search.

Results are not always what they appear. :D

My thing is, I don't care what the stance is about Obama. The point is, there are entirely too many threads about him. I can't be the only one sick and tired of Obama threads. Then you have trolls like Yubba who at every turn, try to make everything about Obama. And as i mentioned here, it's a form of self gratification.

I understand it annoys some people, but obama is(unfortunately) the president at the moment and is bound to come up.I will also point out a thread about "obamacare" is more about the health care law and the constitutional, fiscal issues etc associated with it more than Barry O himself.Another thread concerning obama's attitude towards Israel or his actions towards Libya etc warrant different threads.You would not put a discussion about middle eastern affairs and healthcare in the same thread as they are different issues.Barry is president at the moment so he's going to be involved, it sucks but that is how it is.

Now if there were constantly threads involving obama and same issue, I could understand, that would be spamming but posters raising various issues that may involve obama because he is potus, nothing wrong there.Annoying to some? sure but others post threads that annoy the rest of us.Simple answer, don't read it.
