Zedi has asked that I tame the mine damage down. I'm working on that now. He doesn't want the mines taking you out but rather causing some serious damage that will require you to return to base to get fixed.

If we will have icebergs on the campaign also in the new MO (and the crew can not spot them) i was thinking to make a map for each campaign with the iceberg position... but i dunno where i can add this... and i dunno if is a good ideea... not to immersive

AR15 for homedefense? how unsafe is the US?

2nd amendment right in the US Constitution to bear arms. I'm just not allowed to own a fully automatic weapon of any kind (unless I apply for a Federal Firearms License [FFL]). I feel sorry for those countries where you're not allowed to own firearms. How do you protect yourself from others/government?

US is pretty safe in general due to citizens right to bear arms. There are only two states in the US where you're not allowed to have a concealed weapon. Most states have concealed carry or right to carry.

My brother built an AR15 and I found the easiest way to make it auto is to place your thumb in front of the trigger and hook your thumb on your belt loop. Pull forward on the gun and you'll go through 30 rounds in a matter of seconds. Takes awhile to get use to it to be able to hit anything though. :DL

Agreed 100%! With all the due respect, I think we should keep this space free from firearms, and concentrate solely on virtual artillery, torpedoes, bombs, mines, etc.

Add some touch screens, wire some lights and toggle switches, $500.00 - @1000.00 dollar HOTAS, ( Throttle and Stick with preasure sensors, ect.), and you were pretty much "In the Jet".

One of the guys was a Student from the Middle East.....
He was also taking private flight instruction, while attending University here in the States.
He had it ALL....
The Pit, flight suit, Helmet w/Visor had wired so that Roger Wilco voice over net app was piped in....Flight Gloves, ect..ect...
His Set up was probably worth around 10 grand !

He was Home in his 1 bedroom town house "Flying" one day, when there was a knock at his door.
He unstrapped and climbed out of his pit.... still wearing the helmet and gloves and all, and answered the door.
UPS guy was dropping off a computer part he had ordered on-line.

His Setup was in his Living room as there was nowhere else it would fit, so UPS Dude has a Mid-East guy in full Flight gear standing in front of him, with a Fighter Jet Replica just behind him in his LIVINGROOM !!!!!
The part he was delivering was a Hal Sensor... a rather Expensive rare purchase for the average person.. hell most people dont know what they are for.

Bad news was......
It was less than a Year after 9-11, and the UPS guy dropped Dime 2 minutes after he left.
Our Friend had some REAL explaining to do !!!!!!!
He spent better than a week being "Interviewed" with no access to Lawyer, or outside contact...... Nobody knew what happened.... he just "Disappeared".
Good Bloke tho.....
He said he was really scared, but could not blame them for being so curious and "Protective", as he knew how it looked !
