One thing. How did you get information on chush depth etc. I have been browsing all over the net and cant find any information about depth and chush depth. I can find loads of information about test depth of 80m, but nothing else.....

Anyone who have the complete set of data on this boat and who can post it???

This sub is my dream come true, this have it all.....

Just realy cant find a complete set of data on her.....

Here's a new periscope view for the Surcouf :

FOV adjusted to 40° at low power (1.1 x)
FOV adjusted to 7.6° (not the rl 6.0°) at high power(6.0 x)

download (jsgme ready):

I quit using filefront when they didn't accept that files be set to private anymore.

Then i set up the mediafire account which hosts most of my most recent mods,

but for the IJN Jyunsen B v 3.9.9.9.9.3 which is on filefront : mediafire has a size limit and that one's 312 mb !

Now two things :

french never had radar on the Surcouf (which is maybe why it collided with an american ship...

french didn't have a TDC... so if and when the British Fruit machine comes I'll set it up in the mod, and set the torpedoes to 0° angle instead of the 15° for the 24v.

note : the small 26v torpedoes can turn 180° to mimic the use of turrets, so you can fire at ships in front of you with the stern tubes !

just take into account that the torp won't fire straight at the enemy but has to turn first.

Looks really good. All you need to do now is to find someone to modify the 3d model to fit the i-507. Then you can put it into your "Climb Mount Niitaka" campaign as an Easter Egg.

This submarine looks to be very well done keltos01. Would you mind if I used it in a mod I'm planning called Silent Frenchie? The mod is about the (Fictional) exploits of this boat in the pacific.

How to I use it?

Hello all
I am running Sillent hunter IV, 1.5, Wolfs version ,. I placed Surcouf 1.7.8 into the mods folder and then I cleared out all mods and added only the Surcouf file via JSGME. I cannot find the Surcouf in game.

Please, where is she?

Rammstein0991 05-18-14 10:41 PM

Wondering the same myself, Kinda disappointed that there's no how-to on getting it to work :shifty:

Admiral Von Gerlach 05-22-14 07:43 PM

Hello i learned you are having problems locating the ship in the sim, once loaded. I will have to review my files and contact the fellow who made her, to see if i can help you, it has been a while since i tested this fine ship. Will try to help out.

Rammstein0991 07-28-14 10:30 PM

Good to know, thanks

Bonden 07-30-14 09:43 PM

Try looking in one of the quick/single missions - i found it in there. Haven't tried to start a career yet but i intend to very soon - like in 10 minutes...

Cheers

In game the boat's skin is black, and the whole conning tower is missing, I play with trigger maru, but I don't think that would affect it, is this normal, or one-
off?
