My family name was made into English more than a thousand years ago. The original name was Brodfeldt, and we were part of the Saxon invasion of England in the 400s. So we not only have been on the "wrong" side of most of the wars since (we also fought for the Normans), but we might even have fought against King Arthur!

That's quite interesting though. I know very little of my family lineage. My great-grandparents immigrated from Prague and settled here to raise barley and corn. I wonder if any of my ancestors defenestrated (or were defenestrated!! :o) anybody? :hmmm:

No, really. Harunobu was Takeda Shingen's actual first name. My real name is Thomas. My friends call me Tom. I have no Japanese ancestery.
