My family name was made into English more than a thousand years ago. The original name was Brodfeldt, and we were part of the Saxon invasion of England in the 400s. So we not only have been on the "wrong" side of most of the wars since (we also fought for the Normans), but we might even have fought against King Arthur! :rotfl2: [edit] It ended up a couple of posts lower, and I didn't notice at the time. This was in response to Betanov in post #20. |
