Did she sing wrong and did not realise it, or couldn't do any better? then she should be helped.

Did she behave wrong intentionally, in order to provoke? Then it would be an opportunity to practice some Klingon diplomacy: kick her until she stops or leaves.

True Klingons may ask: what's the difference? :D

And the answer he'd get would be a fist in face from John Sheridan, commander of Babylon 5. :O:

To me she seemed to sing the wrong key INTENTIONALLY. Everyone could hear her wrong key because she kept on for one or two seconds after everyone had stopped seemingly to me INTENTIONALLY.

She sits on the right most portion of the pew only a few pews from the altar. When everyone stands up she would stand up outside the pews . . .
When she sits down her feet would be outside the pews too.

No you wouldn't if you knew :D. I wouldn't even for a million bucks.
The church is seeing weirder and weirder goers . . .thieves now operate during the mass too prying on left handbags while the communion is being handed out and people lining up to receive them.

AVGWarhawk 05-07-10 08:11 AM

You're in church...turn the other cheek or is that turn the other ear? :hmmm: I have seen a few in my time who truly feel they can belt out the hymnals at church but in all reality sound like a dying cow in the hot sun. Makes for good conversation later on in the day. Eventually they stop or go away. Heck, we had one woman who would dance around the church during the singing. She would flutter about looking like a gypsy with a scarf. She was basically ignored. She did have a history of abuse so we left it at that. Just because she does not seem mental she might have something in the past generating this crappy signing or want for attention.

Maybe she is deaf or partially deaf? Some people can hear normal speech well but when they try to sing, their audible range is too narrow.

Ask yourself, what would this woman gain by intentionally singing in the wrong key/pitch???

Arclight 05-07-10 02:00 PM

I get the impression she might be lonely and it's a cry for attention. Maybe a conversation would do her more good than people staring at her, even if she provokes it.

Maybe she's practicing for American Idol auditions.

kiwi_2005 05-07-10 05:29 PM

Is the woman partly deaf :hmmm: Might not realise shes singing loud, otherwise put her up front in the churches singing choir and let her sing her lungs out. See what the outcome would be.

Castout 07-21-10 06:21 AM

The women is now back in the church with her out of tunes ending.

I'm beginning to be disgusted that no one is doing anything.

Partly deaf I hope she will if she's not.

Honestly I don't think that's the case she did this on purpose whatever the goal. The altar girl and boy, one of two of them would turn their head to find this woman whenever she starts her out of tune ending.

If it was up to me I would drag her out if she declined to remove herself from the mass to be questioned.

This .. frankly not knowing the entire situation it is hard to make any sort of judgement however it does sound like a passive aggressive plea for attention.

Because when you have a thread titled "What do you think of this woman?" people expect cheesecake.

I'd solve the problem by hanging out in a bar, instead, myself :)

Precisely.....she could also have a learning disability or any number of other reasons.

Why can't the vicar, pastor or whoever take her to one side before or after the next church assembly and try and ascertain the rationale for her behaviour?
