UberMatz |
There was a post at the forum at ubisoft, a guy pasted a response to his email. According to that there was supposed to be a patch out next week, fridag at the latest. Considering that it was last week it means a patch will be released in the coming days.
But the official channels are dead...is this normal? |

seriously i think that this game will need the equivalent of eight sh3 patches to ride off all bugs.
Too many bugs !!! http://pcmedia.gamespy.com/pc/image/...825770-000.jpg |
As much as I want the next patch I think it will take a MASSIVE amount of work to add all of the missing features and fix the ton o' Bugs presently.
I'm afraid it will take many patches too properly address this one. :damn: |
I hope they fix the hydrophone bug.:hmmm:
|
Hydrophone bug?
|
I think it highly likely there will be some DLC for the reasons mention by piri_reis and because of the missing years in the campaign. Therefore I think it highly likely we'll see a patch or two which will, probably, fix any serious bugs.

Patches will fix some bugs but the list is horifying long. AI and ship behavior, Graphics such as crew staying on the brigde while diving, the guys in the ship which are animated strangely appearing/disappearing like ghost, also through objects (beds & torpedo). Torpedo that disappear while loading. Absurd usage of system resources, crew that doesnot response under attack or when events happen etc, etc. If they release a mod friday they will only address a few bugs and after three patches Ubi will show its middle finger to its customer.

I couldn't agree more. Especially based on UBI's track record of the previous two titles. There were still some series bugs that couldn't be modded that are present long after UBI allowed the last patch released. |

Run the Updater
Try manually running the updater in the "support" folder. Worked for me.
