All Gutted does, besides from his awesome solution finding program, is see a problem and run here crying about it. See his thread topics. He spends no time figuring things out. He didn't even check to see if leaving the periscope would bring it all the way down, like how are you supposed to drop the scope while looking through it? He came here first to cry about it.

He is having the problem that says "you can not save game files to the server" or something like that. Same problem I had until I changed the setting not to sync. Once you choose this option it wont sync. So he is just being a big baby and crying about everything. Not my problem I sound authoritative, I do cuz his posts are ridiculous.

Oh stuff it..

I never once said anything about the periscope lowering. That was pretty obvious. And as for the sync thing, i and others have already done that for no effect.

Lastly in that other thread you were certain i was doing something wrong and called me a retard... when in actualilty we were both right. So Just drop it. If you want to help out.. do so, but dont be a dillhole about it.

EXACTLY why such outrage came out over DRM, I knew this would happen as did many others.Exactly why I refuse to purchase this until DRM is removed, should not have it to play single player:damn: Having said that, good luck with the game.

Not as ridiculous as yours. According to you, there is no problem with the game, although this is clearly happening to other people. And yes, we have the option unchecked.

Too be honest, I came here with every intention of just lurking and to see the effects of the DRM over the next week or so.... I assumed that people on "subsim.com" would bite the bullet regardless of the possibility that they wouldn't actually be able to play it... Thanks for being my Guinea Pig! ;)

Ive played with no probllems for 3 days and now i freeze at the loading screen, waiting to synch game blah blah blah. whats up with this? ive posted at the ubi forums where other people have the same problem. no solutions. any help?

Same issue here. I opened an issue with Ubi, but have yet to hear back from them.

I went as far as to uninstall my AV and firewall software, and disable the windows firewall. No dice.

After that, I did a complete reinstall.

Nada.

Thinking that it might be a router setting, I placed my computer into the DMZ.

Same problem.

It's got to be a server-side issue. Everyone that I've seen reporting the problem says it started yesterday (myself included), after working fine during the days before.

There are others there with similar problems... the advices from the Ubi Tech support is either to:
- just shutdown firewall / AV to launch the thing
- edit boot settings through msconfig advanced steps to find a imaginary devil program that is messing with Lord Ubi.

And bonus problems if you install the game on a different folder than the default one. :down:
Ubi is on a roll...
