First of all, "I" stands for "In."

"P" stands for something you would put In something else.

"V" stands for the something else you would put it In.

This configuration is generally the one that results in conception of a child, if no preventive measures have been taken.

:har: :har: :har:
Great explanation even without using terms P---- and V----- (which are medical terms BTW)

:hmmm:

Medical terms?

No, no, no, you've got it all wrong. "P" stands for "pie" and "V" stands for "vacuum cleaner."

I don't know where babies come from where you are, young man, but that's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

Now if you'll excuse me I need to find my smelling salts - I feelz a swoon comin' on.

Letum 01-26-10 05:28 PM

:stare: Why are you hoovering up pies?!

Pies are lovely and sweet things, fit only for consumption by people and a
few other higher mammals*; not vacuum cleaners.

*Humans, Walrus, Urang-Utang, all marsupials and catfish (I know they arn't mammals).

Schroeder 01-26-10 05:41 PM

Do you want to discriminate vacuum cleaners by denying them pie?
They have feelings too!
You could get sued for that.;)

:D
Thread successfully derailed....

But conus00 is spot on: why do we (and I mean we Europeans too) always want to please the minority even if it pi**es of the majority and doesn't make any sense at all?

Tell that to AVGWarhawk's crew. He's making 'em out of seagulls and I'm afraid to ask what else.

SteamWake 01-26-10 05:49 PM

The pie is a lie :03:

Hmmm.

Why is "oral sex" in any dictionary?
I don't ask this due to the implications, but because "oral sex" is 2 words.
A dictionary is supposed to define 1 word at a time. It should have defined "oral", and it should have defined "sex". It should not have combined 2 words, and given a definition.

Oddly enough, Websters is at the top of my s__t list, because they don't list, what seems like, half of the words in the english language. Unless of course, you say them in french, then the same word is quite acceptable?!

The only english language dictionary I use is The New Oxford American Dictionary, which comes from England. (Thank you England, for a non-PC, REAL dictionary, with ALL the words!)
Prior to finding that I had to look up words in a english/danish dictionary. I highly recommend it.
Can you look in the oxford dictionary, see if you can read the definition for "oral history" that is written.
You may notice its two words defined in a "REAL" dictionary.
You may also notice that the "REAL" dictionary contains the oral sex definition.

As for the story, no surprise, its just the fundy nuts at work on education again.
If they are allowed to rewrite text books on science or history why shouldn't they be allowed to rewrite the dictionary too.
