Yea...you did good. I almost entered this one instead of "coup de grace", I liked the water/sub better, but no explosion.
http://i651.photobucket.com/albums/u...ersubawash.jpg G2B..I know you listed you video card somewhere. What is it and what drivers. |
That ss speaks volumes Armistead :o :salute:
Specs EVGA 8800GTS Driver 195.62 I have to ask what are you running? :D |
I think I like it better than the other.....sub looks great...who knows.
x250g...This exact card..I like the duel fan set ups on the card. Not that expensive..course it's getting out of date compared to what they have. I was running 8800gt's...I do notice some difference. I get more colors and things look somewhat sharper, just depends on your settings. I keep playing with my settings. Right now since I load 1.9, I'm gonna have to do some work. Hate those lines I told you about, didn't have them in 1.7. I think it's the filtering settings.... Pissed now, haven't been into truk yet with 1.9, so paid it a visit. This time a TF was stationary more in the shallows, with 4 dd's around it moving. Got by the dd's in 48 ft...launched all torps at a Shoho carrier and Tone...then BAM..I guess I got hit by a circle runner..running decks awash, maybe a mine...but it killed me...no dang save point...Start over at base and now run into a TF in th Solomons...bad storm, this should be fun. http://www.calibrestyle.com.tw/news/...reX250_en.html |

TMO 1.9 you have to love it First mission out of Manila, heading north up the coast and got jumped by a Betty not more than 6 hours out of port :nope: Further up the coast pick up a large convoy with DD's, Minesweepers, subchasers and all kinds of fun stuff. And some nice big Maru's :D We were Dancing in the moonlight http://i974.photobucket.com/albums/a...193320_968.jpg http://i974.photobucket.com/albums/a...131605_406.jpg http://i974.photobucket.com/albums/a...192647_609.jpg |
Yea, I'm getting use to the play changes. I sunk 5 dd's coming down the slot in the storm using O'Kane..hard to hit those devils by sonar going 33knts in a storm and used all my torps.
Refitted at Tulgari and was headed out and 32 planes show up on radar. I figured probably US, but stayed on the surface until I got plane spotted and hit crash dive. It's obvious he changed the dive times, because I just got under as they attacked in groups of two...one group after the other. Funny, so many they ran into each other as they often do.. http://i651.photobucket.com/albums/u...2310_562-1.jpg |
Stay shallow enough and dodge em, maybe they will knock themselves out of the air :har:
The one thing that bothers me the most is when they stop in flight and roll on their wings  |
I've been duped :nope: These are all DD's, minesweepers and subchasers around a Light Cruiser. The remnants of the Convoy from the previous night now listed as a TF :o They just popped into visual after I had been tracking them (could see smoke long before crew did) I was getting ready to go decks awash dead slow. Gentlemen its been a pleasure serving with you :damn:

To Mrs. G2B,
We regret to inform you of the loss of your husband. We realize you just recently met and married during his brief refit. Before he left he stated his devotion to you and the night of his honeymoon was the best in his life. He spoke fondly of that night you had at the Burlap Inn. Where the cheap whiskey and cigar smoke filled the air. He regretted waking that morning, peeling himself from your sticky body and leaving you there alone. His death is questionable and under review. He reported contact with a TF and that he would give attack. It seems in the excitement of the attack, several crew members reported he accidently slipped off the conning tower, hit his head in three different area's. The crew said he drowned. The crew decided it best not to attack the TF, stating it was only a group of Sampans and left the area. They were able to retrieve him from the water. We have yet to figure out why he had a knife in his back, four gunshots to the head, and the "Chief of the boats" hammer shoved up his arse. The crew reported he must have slipped and fell on these items as he went overboard. As for his pension and benefits. We regret to inform you that you have been turned down. The fact remains that you are a 71 year male prostitute that wears a wig and dress and not eligable for benefits. Admiral Tambor. PS: Upon a 5 minute review, let's just say we believe the crew...no charges were found. You may pick him up. He'll be wrapped in sheet behind the local hot dog stand. |

Yea, that's funny when they do 100 rolls in 3 seconds, but you can get some good SS's.... I risk a lil for some SS's...May post shots late, I have some in perfect formation... Did you ever see my SS of the famous JP stuntman.."Nochuta Wingwalker"... http://i651.photobucket.com/albums/u...002131_640.jpg |

Thanks Armistead,
It was one of those days peaceful, quiet with a little wind blowing through my hair. I figured it would be a good start to the day before the the real excitement happens. Tweety |

:har::har: Custer would have been proud. As soon as we were spotted ordered flank speed, general quarters. The madness :o guns blazing zig zagging as we pressed our attack, fountains of water shooting up around our boat as they zeroed in on us. The gun crew manged to disable a couple sub chasers as I lined up for a spread on the cruiser, were getting hits now Gun crew has wounded, at 2500 yards let loose with all 4 tubes. Swung about to make a run for safety and let loose the aft tubes. The boat full of holes dead and wounded everywhere engines almost gone. With my last view of one hit on the cruiser followed by a massive secondary, grabbed the binocs to see an empty lifeboat  Everyone of the crew got a medal, I got the brig. :timeout:Words of wisdom don't let the Chihuahua distract you while your running full speed closing on a TF  Like the wing walker Nochuta :D Is that some kind of pilot rescue program or some new way to look underneath the plane for subs? @ Tweety It is always nice to enjoy the serenity before the mayhem. Nice SS :yep: Hope to see your entries in the contest :woot: |
