Well I hate to do this, but due to personal problems, I have to disappear for a while. We have not received any donations in the last 3 months, and all 3 bills are due(Domain name, Server, and FileFactory file storage). It will be a miracle to pay all those bills in such a small time period, plus I won't be around to pay them anyways. So I have to option but to let our "Game Credits" run out, and replenish them later. I made a complete backup of the forums, so at least I will have all that stored safely on my HD.

I will be gone anywhere from 3 - 6 months. I have to do this to prevent myself from homelessness. But when I return, and have a new fresh start on life, I promise to get us back up again. I will also make a promise to upload more files in the future, I have not been 100% in motivation and keeping up to SWCowboy's standards I was wishing to uphold.

Do don't think BtS is gone forever when the lights go out next month, just think of it as us going to Silent Running until the waters calm. I will resurface and continue to keep our "Community Files" safe and preserve them for as long as Silent Hunter continues to strive.

Sorry to hear that, Tuddley. Having been homeless myself I can empathize. I wish there was some way I could contribute. :cry:

I also have been on the down side - so far due to family not actually homeless, but right now coming up on third anniversary of being unemployed - it truly sux. Wish ya all the luck, and stay down untill the seas are clear.

As of now, BtS will be offline until further notice. I am going to estimate that it will be sometime around May or July of 2011 before I will be able to get back up. As I said above, I need some time to hit the reset button in my personal life before I can continue to run BtS.

I also don't want to have to keep relying on all of you to donate to keep BtS running, it's quite embarrassing to be honest. I want to thank all of you who have helped in the past, it was greatly appreciated. I will return, as the Subsim community is the nicest and most helpful community on the web, and I love all of you like brothers.

For those who have access to our file library at FileFactory, there are 4 days left before that account is suspended.
