Looks good, especially darker water, but I have problem with flat sun. Could you include "Flat sun fix" to your mod?

btw, i am looking forward for your incoming Windjammer Pamir ! it is absolutely amazing !! in fact, it will be the first ship that i will try to get it inside the campaign. :up:please ...make it ...detailed !! it is just...perfect! Quote:
as i said this is not a problem of M.E.P v2 ! read my reply to Seeadler about the sun halo (post 17 of this thread ) .as i said ,i can't 'fix' something that is not happening on my pc! someone that HAS the problem must follow the procedure that is described at [REL] Man0s Environment Pro (post 22 ..till the end) and give a 'fix' to this 100 times discused 'problem' ! i don't know if this help but i have a nvidia card and i am using nhancer (with the settings recommended by Rubini) and i STRONGLY suggest to anyone to use this programme with Rubini's settings! all these are discribed at [REL] Man0s Environment Pro HTH |
Makman94, can I enable Flat Sun fix for GWX3 over your mod? When I try to enable it I see this info from jsgme:
"EnvColors_Arct.dat" has already been altered by the "M.E.P v2" mod. "EnvColors_Atl.dat" has already been altered by the "M.E.P v2" mod. "EnvColors_Med.dat" has already been altered by the "M.E.P v2" mod. |

Hmm, Flat sun fix works over your MEP. I see sunhalo instead of golf ball.
Where can I download s3d from? |

as i said ,you MUST edit the envcolors_xxx.dat of M.E.P and copy inside there ONLY THE VALUES OF BRIGHTNESS of sunhalo that you will find in OLC's 'fix' . note that some adjustments must maybe need to be done after this ps: give me a minute to prepare a file for you to ...test |
It would be good. Thanks for your help.

updating M.E.P v2
an updating is coming soon for M.E.P v2
i am reworking the bad weather becuase i realized that was too dark during the day . some minor tweaks also at the clouds's color during sunset-sunrise also i am reworking the seafoams .the new ones are ,in fact, Jaketoox's textures reworked to 'fit' as seafoams . here: seafoams: http://i545.photobucket.com/albums/h...kman94/1-7.jpg http://i545.photobucket.com/albums/h...kman94/2-7.jpg the 'new' bad weather: http://i545.photobucket.com/albums/h...kman94/3-6.jpg |
The best just gets even better!!!
I am also having problems with the sunhalo, I know that someone -IIRC it was OLC- gave instructions on how to edit the files and fix it, must check my archive, though it will be difficult to fin :damn: It involved opening one of the files and raising the gamma or something like that. The new wake for the submarine is gorgeous and so much realistic than anything I've seen before. May be the foam existed already, but it's the combination with this new colours what makes it so lively :D The sea colour is great in bad weather because it still looks blue, and not grey as in other mods (I prefer and think it is more realistic a dark blue, but that's just personal preference) If I manage to fix the sun, I'll send you the files for double check and add as optional patch if you want. I would however like to have a screenshot of how the sub shall look like in good weather, so I can use it as reference when tweaking it. Thanks :salute: |
EDIT:
Me idiot....found it in the thread you linked to in the first post :damn:, it was you who hinted the possible fix. Quote:

You have right, that means it's true proverb :).
When are you planning to release new version of MEP? I'd like to start new career with it. |
