In RL, vessels have at least two storage tanks for compressed air.....the main storage and a secondary tank.
When compressed air is called upon to perform a task, the air is drawn from the main storage, which is compensated from the secondary as it is being used/drawn. Only when the main storage is empty would the guage drop, it would then rise again as the compressor feeds the secondary which in turn replenishes the main tank. That is how it worked in RL and is replicated in game. This is my understanding anyway. |
@Rafael
I don't know mate, maybe it's because of the malfunctions in SH3Commander. Hope someone will give you a better answer. @jimbuna It does make sense. :yep: |
A new image:
I submerged at approx. 00.11 hours and surfaced approx. 9 hours later and the result is no problems with compressed air now? Battery is below 50%, still enough C02. Compressed air 100%! Mystery or not? :hmmm: |
Rafael,
it seems to me that you think that compressed air is for breathing, but it is for surfacing the boat (especially if the engines are in "all stop"). |

I suppose it has to do with SH3 Commander and my malfunctions in combination with sabotage. However I am unable to test it at the moment. I have to start a new patrol and disable this function in SH3 Commander. Anyway thanks for thinking with me!:salute: |
