Two confirmed as genuine I think.

A nice game to play in these times. ;)

I just heard on one those crazy right wing radio stations (Glenn Beck) that Obama had met a man in Mexico, shook his hand. The man died the next day from swine flue.

That would creep me out.

Taking into account your description of the source...I wonder how reliable that source might be :hmmm:

We'll have to look carefully to see how Obama looks in his next public appearance.

Any coughing and spluttering or feverish looks and.....the rest could be history :o

Growing rapidly over 100 suspected dead from it so far and 40 cases in the US.

You dont have to board up your house but do be careful as always.

Wash your hands often! (Not every 5 mins!)

I knew there was a reason for being anti-social. Now I have an excuse:D

clive bradbury 04-27-09 04:22 PM

Finally, an excuse for not being fit and eating and drinking sensibly. This strain does not kill the 'usual' targets, but seems to kill fit healthy people with robust immune systems which overreact to the virus. I'm off to drink beer and eat lard.

SteamWake 04-27-09 04:27 PM

I havent heard of any confirmed deaths in the US as yet.

Over 100 in mexico.

Maybe its all those big mac's. :rotfl:

Say, any of you play Left 4 Dead?

SUBMAN1 04-27-09 08:36 PM

Oh no! OMG! 100 people died? Big whoop!

In the US, every single year, 36,000 people die on average from the flu. THat is about 100 people per day - in the United States no less! And this swine thing takes how long to kill 100 people worldwide?

Yawn.

Put a swag of cash on a huge wave of reported cases in Japan in a week or two when everyone comes home from their overseas "Golden Week" holidays.

Seriously, the next swine flu hotspot will be Japan.

At least the face masks aren't in short supply here.....
