I have Star Trek: Klingon Acadamy and it is an excellent game. I found and performed the CD to DVD mod so you do not have to swap out the CD's all the time. It is the one that I always re-install when I rebuild my system.
SFC3 with the generation Wars mod ROCKS. You can play just about ANY ship from ANY of the era's of trek. Here is the rundown of the Star Trek games I have. Star Fleet Command 1,2, & 3 Star trek Armada 1 & II Star Trek : Starfleet Acadamy (the original version, not that wimpy 3 disk version abridged version) Star Trek : Klingon Acadamy Star Trek : Bridge Commander |
Well there's a few to choose from but they're getting a bit long in the tooth.
Star Trek: 25th Anniversary Star Trek: Judgment Rites -Both are excellent point and click adventures but are low res and dos, they run using dosbox however. Star Trek: Klingon Academy -Always thought this one was better than Bridge Commander but your mileage will vary. Starfleet Command 2 -Absolutely rocks, my fav of them all not just because I'm more of a fan of the original series but the complexity of this game keeps me coming back. If you can get a LAN game going of this you'll be in for a good time. Oh and for your guys info as far as I know Starfleet Command 4 has been in development for a while now by the Dynaverse guys. |
Star Trek : Starfleet Academy (PC version) :D
Sure, it's not the best ST game, but it has Kirk, Sulu and Chekov in live action :) . And a host of amateur actors , with you as one of them. I found the combat a bit frustrating though, it was really weird that Phasers were quantized (i.e like those laser weapons in star wars and not a continuous stream). But, the game was actually fun despite it's numerous flaws. |
I got Bridge Commander, and Kobayashi Maru, problem is, I cant talk to my XO and she will randonly relieve me of command...schizophrenic XO?
anybody else have that problem? |
Not me, are you running the latest version of the KM mod? Why don't you check their website?
