More than just the cd vs vynil vs digital I find the whole trend towards 'virtual goods' disturbing.

Ill be honest though I have bought direct to drive games but the first thing I do is burn them to a disk. The only reason is that it was not available in the stores.

There was a time when you could judge a games value by the weight of its box. ;)

Sorry I dident read the article but Ill guess that the arguement was made that CD's are bad for the enviroment.... Am I right ?

I use Rhapsody for my music. They keep a file of music purchased. I reformatted my drive. Loaded up Rhapsody and all my purchased music was loaded to my drive. I had no issues with it and no back up needed. I do prefer CD over the MP3 player. It won't be long until CD is a thing of the past. Look at the history. Reel to reel, 8 track, cassette, CD...mp3 next.

Its gotta be the Vinyl for me,love that scratch sound, real Bass too,
mind you I've gotta pretty nice Vinyl 12inch collection,
over the years,as a Retired Dj,
Happily settled now,I've had enough of those late-nights,
Old Djs Should Retire,Or pass on their experience before doing so,
to a Younger Dj.
Nothing worse than being at a Party with an Old Man behind the Decks,
He's wearing an ear piece,
Ask him to play a Request?
