My daughter doesn't get harassed about this anymore after I paid a visit to the school and had a little "prayer meeting" with the principle and teacher in question. She was badgered for mentioning Congressman Ron Paul. And the slurs she got for it was criminal. And I wasn't uncivil one bit about it, but I didn't let them just sweep it under the carpet either, and go back to business as usual. The thing that really torqued me, was the instructor in question had no credentials in American History or American Government, and had less knowledge than my sophmore daughter.

But ya know, everyone needs to a little humbling from time to time.

And you can send this teacher a nastygram in return if you wish.

The incident is not acceptable. However, the headline of the thread tries to make it appear as if Obama is responsible for this teacher's unacceptable behavior. I think this attempt itself also is not acceptable.

Campaigning is over. Stop the mud-throwing. It already has been maybe the most dirty campaign in america and germany I ever experienced.

Sounds to me like she'll be fired.

But I am curious about how does this equates to "the change we're looking for". The title implies it is Obama's fault this teacher is an idiot. He hasn't even taken office yet.

Not looking forward to the next four years of every idiot in the world blaming all their problems and every stupid comment made by a black person on Obama.

The headline of the thread tries to make it appear as if Obama is reponsible for this teacher's unacceptable behavior only if you interpret it that way. Your complaints are starting to become a dirty campaign of it's own.:D

Execute me together with Mothball then. We are comrades in conspiracy. And then quite some others, too.

We know who the conspirators are, as do you know who the conspirators are against you:D Execution is not the punishment, being forced to constantly read these things that you don't like are the punishment:p (In case you can't tell, this is all lighthearted joking on my part.)

If you didn't see the implication, or interpret it that way, then the publik edukashun system may have failed you as well.

Not even close, ths campaign was mild compared to Bush vs Dukakis, Bush vs Clinton, and Bush W vs Kerry. :)

This teacher, needs to be fired, ASAP, like yesterday!
Teachers are not suppose to interject their political beliefs upon their students.

No sir, the public education system didn't fail me. I went to school before students were taught to whine about every perceived slight that they could concoct in their itty bitty heads.

We can see that.

Once the junior league baseball teams stopped keeping score you had to know that something was wrong.
