@Jimbuna always look on the bright side of life .........

@RDP I didnt give it away you did but my real name appears
in my forum name.

@Kylania I had told posted at the start of summer that I would
be taking them down come autumn as I wasnt playing them and
wont be available for user support anylonger. I feel that if I am
going to keep them posted I should keep them supported and
conversely...........

@everyone else, you cant change what SHIII has meant to the
Genre at large. Its significance cant be understated.

Myself, I feel that il never fully move to SH4, I actualy mess with SH3 more often.

The graphics are shiny, the game engine is new. But it is still missing something, just dont know what it is. Dosent have the same feeling for some reason.:-?

That would be the cold dark foreboding grey of an atlantic winter storm
compared to say a sunny day in hawaii.

:rotfl:

Pleasure mate
Take care

Wildhawke11 10-18-08 10:47 AM

Thank you Mush for all you did for us and our beloved SH3 GAME.
What keeps me on the U-boats compared to SH4 is like in real life you knew it was only a matter of time before your number was up.
Again Thank You and Good Hunting.

MM, you did great things here, you're doing great things there. You're right - we'll all be joining you soon enough.

@ Philipp_Thomsen: Your sad post reminds me of a time three years ago or so. Someone posted that he couldn't believe that SH2 was being moved to the 'Classic Subsims' forum.

Sad but true, all things must end.

TarJak 10-18-08 06:36 PM

MM all the best mate. You pushed at the boundaries and did some great work. Hope to see you round the boards elsewhere then.

Laufen zum Ziel 10-21-08 07:07 PM

So Sad.......

Best of luck to you and future endevers.

CCIP 10-21-08 08:21 PM

Guys, you're making this sound like it's a funeral

Rock on, and I sure expect more of your excellent modding work in SHIV now :D

Mush Martin 10-21-08 08:37 PM

nope a retirement party have one :()1:

ReallyDedPoet 10-22-08 07:25 AM

Don't turn into one of those " I'm leaving or retiring or whatever " lads here, only to return to the fold at a later date.
If you do this thread will come back to haunt you :dead::dead:, I'll make sure of it :lol::yep:

Nothing wrong with taking a break and then having a go at it later on :)
Besides I am sure that there will be more great sims to keep us all occupied in the future.

Nope I flew over Canada nearly a fortnight ago and I definitely saw the retirement banner nailed across the roof of his place of abode

Just one thing puzzling me now....Is he old enough to start drawing his pension :hmm:

I'll have to take FS 2004 for a rip tonight over Ontario and see if I can
spot it as well :rotfl::rotfl:Better yet I'll take the F-16 out available in Google Earth.

As far as his age, there was a pic of him floating around here somewhere :hmm:
