dude this game is very addicting. I ahve lost a lot of money on swapping guns to much and not understanding how the remodels and upgrades work, so im broke as a joke. But, lovin every minuite of this game.
I just got a lvl 23 gunner and when I promoted him I cant place him on my boat. So I dont have anyone qualified to shoot my lvl 23 aft guns. Is there a wait time before I can use him? OMG this avatar is horrible, im gonna have to spam threads till I can get rid of it. nevermind about the gunnerit was a glitch. |

I upgraded to the gold ac****. As of lately, I've been doing pretty good. Now it's nice to accually accumulate some real points for winning. I've had a few games now where I've sunk a few CAs:rock: with my long lance attacks.

Play as xebec on New York server. Doing the KM line and currently play a Type II sub and CL Koenigsberg. Probably took 50 playing hours with a premium account to get there. This is actually my 2nd go at NF, lured back by the addition of subs. My first go was before US based servers, 4-5 years ago. When I stopped I gave away free all my ships, sailors, credits and points, over two million in value. Sure wish I had that back now :)

If enough retired Navy Field sailors in subsim would contribute their earned points, credits and sailors to us, we would have sufficient game credits to start sub clans on all three US servers. Creating a clan cost dearly in game credits. We then could arrange battles for sub vs sub, sub vs DD or other combinations. Seems like I recall 200,000 credits but that may be dated info. We should also be able to make the grind to owning a sub easier for subsim clan members by providing funding for better sailors and purchases of better boats easier. Some may prefer to specialize in sub hunting with DD's and frigates. I have yet to see a serious sub hunter in the games with depth charges.
Any interest? |

Second, 200k credits is chump change. Seriously. If it's credits you're after, start a CV line (if you haven't already)...one can make 200k in two or three games in a CV, even a Bogue (which is much improved after the patch this week). It'll take some time (leveling pilots is a pain) but it's well worth it in the end. Third, as for sub hunting, I have a Somers DD that is pretty lethal. You'll recall that Somers has 3 T-slots for DC racks, the most of any US DD. No sub can survive a good salvo with three DC drops. For the R slots, I mounted the twin 5" Mk38Ds and equipped AA along with HE, so when not sub hunting I can do AAW, and if a sub surfaces to avoid my DC damage (as any smart sub driver should), I can deal lots of damage with the guns. In my support slots I have a sonarman (obviously) and an engineer (in the 70s) to give me more speed to dodge torps and BB fire. My record with that setup was a little over 80k damage in one game, from 3 T2 sub kills and a DD or something, along with a few thousand credits worth of planes shot down. Fourth, I'm already in a fleet, but good luck with your sub clan. ;) |
I've almost saved up enough milk money to buy my sub.
