Flag cutted; it was too big, and not historic :nope:
I've modify the ELCO torperdoes (now are 1\2 long than before) and i've put them into MTM hull. If hitted by shells now there is a nice BOOM :arrgh!: But in every tests i've done, MTM can't ram anything. Any idea? |

And for catapult pilot craft - may be you can made animated pilot craft with catapult in ... meters from target. But it's my thinks only. You question is hard... What do you think about my thinks? |
I can invision a possable way to do this.
:hmm: You create a new gun. it fires a new shell. Splash effect spawns a modded Homing torp that is the custom MTM. :yep: |

Only problem I can see is the gun will have to be on a unit Homers always go for the loudest unit which will probably be the one the guns on LMAO How were these MTM used ? Harbour raids ? Travel in packs looking for targets ? What ? The gun has to be on something right - possibly a DD\escort ship Depends how they were used Maybe the Walter top is a good one to use No homing and fast but if the gun mounted on a DD or such ship then the boat will run true, as a shell would ,to impact as the gun would track the target anyway :hmm: Just thinking out loud |
Like you said BBW,
thinking out loud. It depends on how and where they launched from, as how to deploy them. Also, once the unit is spawned, it will head North or off on a quadrent from the gun aim. (As ALL torpedos spawned this way do) So it must be modded with a longer detection range and spawn outside of player visual range to appear realistic. |
Looks like the modeled MTM is too big, the real one was really very small.
Good job anyway!! Maraz |

Look how small was an MTM...

Update
Totally reworked, now is really small! Maybe the smallest single unit?
