The problem with McCain is that he's too hot-headed. Several of his friends have described him as a person who loses control when he gets angry. If he was in office, and henceforth had nuclear weapons at his disposal, then it would be very risky. He could very well punch the big red button, if you know what I mean...

I also have personal issues with McCain, particularly how he bashed Clinton's daughter, making the claim that she must have been the spawn of Janet Reno. You need to see the entire thing that he said. He's just another dirty politician who's not going to make much of a difference once he gets in office.

I also have a problem with his leadership tactics. A few years ago, he said he would continue President Bush's way of handling the country and Iraq...

Finally, the man is just too old and too sickly. He could die on us at any time, particularly when we need him the most, and that's something that would be extremely bad... although I have to admit that I wouldn't feel that bad about his passing and I'd probably skip any moments of silence broadcast on TV.

Oh my god. It's the best reason in the world why we should vote for him...

People, people, people! Come on! Get common sense! Why do you only care about looks and not about management tactics? I'd take a person who looks like ****, but still manages the country in a proper manner over a person who looks great, but handles the country the way Britney Spears handles her kids.

Thats part of the problem. It isn't giant, it's small and geared for quick in and out action.

Actually, the United States has the second largest military in the world... underneath China's, that is, but you can't really compete with that... unless you use proper technology against a bunch of rice farmers that can handle a pitchfork better than they can a gun.

If Clinton gets the nomination I'll vote Clinton.
If Obama get the nomination I'll vote McCain.

The US can't take another ineffective 4 year Presidential term, and that, IMO, is exactly what Obama will deliver. He wants to change, change, change. Criminy, he hasn't even been elected to a second term by his own constituency yet...

While I understand that Clinton doesn't have all the answers, I consider her experience as a First Lady and as a Senator, more acceptable.

McCain is my last choice as the "evil of two lessers" and I always vote, even if it is just to "shut up" those that don't vote and then complain afterwards...

Might be the second largest but it's still small and geared for quick in and out action. Thats why it's so high tech and expensive. Quality over quantity.

Edit- In fact the US Army's mission was changed in 2005 I see. http://www.army.mil/aps/05/ Not one I'm really thrilled with but I guess it's realistic. I wonder what it means for size and organization.
