  • Scrap the green tax and start taxing coal-guzzling Asia
  • Serial rapists, mass murderers and convicted terrorists are all subject to a mandatory 250 year prison sentence aboard the KP Floating Prison Compound Alpha. This compound will be funded using the UK government's paychecks
  • Gun control is strict, but those with a clean criminal record and who have passed rugged suitability tests will be able to purchase a firearm of limited calibre
  • Government incentives for home-brewers who apply for a public house sales license
  • No papers - no entry
There are more ;)

You just got my vote!

Neal rarely divides oppinion and that keeps the peace and his authority intact.
Thats certinaly not to say he sit's on the fence at all.
No one springs to mind when i try to think of someone who could do that so well.

Sailor Steve 02-26-08 07:53 PM

Neal doesn't need to be PM, or anything else. Like Twain's Connecticut Yankee, Neal is simply...Da Boss.

TarJak 02-26-08 08:37 PM

I vote for the next noob who posts.:arrgh!: Anarchy for all!

Kapitan_Phillips 02-26-08 08:39 PM

New legislations should I be elected:
  • Discussion of the length of man-parts is banned.
  • Religious discussion is not permitted, other than within your own boats. Islam is righteous, death to Christianity? Vice Versa? Not on my watch, bucko
  • There will be no land based military. The land army of Subsim will consist of Chuck Norris and a frisbee. That's more than enough.
  • Dowly will no longer recieve government paid healthcare the next time he piles an aircraft into a tree/cliff/airplane/Chuck Norris. No offense to you, Dowly, but all those operations meant 25 submarines didnt get a pressure hull.
  • Skybird will be official ambassador to Eastern European and Middle Eastern countries, as a mere greeting would be tl;dr, leading to other leaders succumbing to our demands
  • STEED, should he not be elected, shall take the helm as Chief Councilman to oversee the niggly piggly issues, such as "My lawn isnt as green as Dennis's, I want to sue"

nikimcbee 02-26-08 09:19 PM

Wow, I thought about running, but I spent some quality time at the hobby shop:hmm: .

If I run:
  • Kapitan Phillips would be my sports minister
  • Steed would be the minister of hard liquors
  • Dowly would be minister of the Air force
  • subman1 would be incharge of subsim security and keeper of the key to the fridge w/ beer.
  • Jimbuna would be the minister of silly-walks
  1. All future subsims will have dynamic campaigns to appear @ subsim.
  2. A Finnish thread will be established.
  3. There will be a $5 charge per post in religous and political posts. Procedes go to buy a retired submarine for a subsim clubhouse.

Kapitan_Phillips 02-26-08 09:26 PM

Thought I'd jump in here again and say that the unemployed created from axing the land army will be drafted into the police force, so there can actually be a bobby on the street.

And I will destroy the seeming dependency on surveillance and focus on preventing crime, rather than reacting to it

Brag 02-27-08 06:23 AM

I think a monarchy has more class than democracy and is a lot more colorful and has more room for court jesters and village idiots. So I vote for suspension of all voting and for Neal I :|\\

Tchocky 02-27-08 07:56 AM

Vote T. Chock for PM.

Why - I've always wanted a pet.

Konovalov 02-27-08 08:05 AM

I voted for Jimbuna as there just aren't enough smilies and emoticons in the world and Jimbuna would change that. :yep:

jumpy 02-27-08 08:52 AM

There seems to be a significant common factor amongst all of those candidates... a higher than average post count  *cough cough* spammers *cough cough*
possibly 'time served' here would be a better criteria to use than the more obvious connection.
I'm not sure a propensity for hot air is really appropriate for a PM... no, wait, what am I saying?! lol

Before we get down to voting a PM, we ought to carry on the tradition and spend endless parlimentary weeks discussing the matter, getting large subsidised lunches at taxpayers expense and generally voting ourselves payrises above the rate of inflation. Then and only then can we feel that a job has been well done and we can get to the business of choosing a figurehead everyone can direct their moaning attention to after we all get those fat bonuses that the masses will hate so much.
:arrgh!:

Oh, and incidentally, I vote for myself...

it's what every self-serving parliamentary member ought to do if they think about it... that one true chance for megalomania :stare:
