Single sonar ping for SMS message, that's what I use.
|
welcome aboard!
YexeonChew!:Kaleun_Salute: BETTER IMHO: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9azjzhoL670 especially when it's my wife calling!:k_confused:
|
I have the sonar ping from SH3 as my incoming call and alarm tone. For incoming messages and notifications I use a morse code recording. My incoming call vibration is customizable and I set it to ... --- ... lol. Im obsessed I must admit!
|
I have no submarine-related sounds, but my text message sound is the intercom whistle from the original Star Trek (which I'm guessing was a mimic of a voice-pipe whistle - Gene Roddenberry was in the US navy, I think). Actually, I suppose it's anti-submarine sound!
When it goes off, people of a certain age tend to turn around to see where it comes from. |
No sub sounds, but other then that, my phone at this moment only makes pings;
My ring tone is the ringtone from The Unit Notifications are the Dradis pings from Battlestar Galactica I might just have to add the Asdic sound then... |

Old thread, but still fun !!
I used AUDACITY to shorten the "Neue Funksprach, Herr Kaleun!" sound file and it is my text message notifier. Naturally the alarm is "ALAAAAARM.... " from the sim. People at work tend to turn their heads when it goes off !!! LOLOL AD |
Personally I prefer the enemy radio message intercepted audio.
As for the alarm, I tried that... after two mornings to a 5:15 am wakeup with that, my wife made a scene and so I switched it. |
