Well, in Italy there is a one fits all tv license, doesn't matter if its black and white or color tv.
You pay the same amount.
Same thing if you possess a recorder video (vhs) or even gasp mobile phone with the ability to recieve public airwaves broadcast.
Our law is in the standard of the italian way that is to say quite bizantine.
You have to pay a tv license not only on a tv, but on any device wich could potentially be modified to recieve tv airwaves.
Now could a law be so generalistic as to be useless ? :hmm:

Er, civillised country ? Think again .. as long as we have a Television set, we have to pay for a licence .. even if we do not watch any television.
According to the 'Big Boys Club', we still have the means [apparatus] to watch the 'BBC', then we have to pay for a licence !
So .. you can watch DVD's/Video's all day without watching anything else but as it is thru a Television, you still have to pay a licence fee. |
