:nope: You would rather have criminals roaming the streets and no one doing anything about it just because you want to pander to the PC "don't kill the innocent" league.

In high speed car chases the objective is not to catch up and stop the vehicle, but more just to keep a visual on it and prepare a blocking/stopping measure further up the expected route (never seen a car yet that was quicker than a radio signal or the 'eye in the sky').
The only time a physical intercept is actioned/authorised would be when serious or imminent danger to life is a foreseeable possibility.

A little off topic the AA that's Automobile Association said England had the best road works in all of Europe, when probed about this statement they said the information came from the governments highways agency. :hmm: :lol:
