My mother, she was a teacher of Chinese school, had lived in Japan for thirty years.
In spite of being a high educated person, she was unable to understand Japanese very well until she died.
She did not have motivation to study Japanese well because she did not need to study Japanese.
So, do you believe that everybody live in earth need to study English well?
Maybe Engrish is enough for middle class peolpe.

I think the fact that nearly everyone can speak English makes us very very lazy.I mean look at this forum, what language are we all speaking here?

That said I once had a go at German and was doing quite well untill I got to the grammer - lost me completely from then on:oops:

I wasn't really too concerned about your grammar, only that you had misspelled it.

If learning English can make money, I will try my best to do that.
The reality is that doing business with western people is a job of the upper class in Asia.
Since I am a middle class man, I don't need to learn English very well.
Shall I waste my money and time just for fun?

I don't think this thread should be taken too seriously,in fact in my earlier post I actually praised the rest of the world and their language skills, especially compared to my own crap skills in my own language......thanks Steve:oops: ;)
