I will release the "black" version later this evening..
Now that I figured it out.. I will try to release all new boats with both skins.

Keep in mind this one is not perfect.. It is build just for testing.
The next ones I will make from scretch.

So to all you skippers.. please let me know what you like and dislike on this skin.
I can take it all with me for the upcoming skins..

A few suggestions:
- make all hi res skins weathered
- make them:
a) without tower graphics (like they are now) and
b) with best known tower graphics from real ww2 sub of that type (for example Sturgeon for Salmon, Thresher for Tambor...)

The weathered versions are redone by Boris.
To be honest I am not really good at adding this weathered stuff..
But afcourse I also hope he has the time and joy of redoing all these skins.

For now I will only do the tower without graphic. There are still so much subs
to do.. otherwise I will never finish all :D :D
But maybe something for the future :hmm:

For now the S-Class is the next one..
ohh.. and the black version of the Salmon is released..

Hi Foofighters, love your work. :up: I downloaded and installed the black skinned one ( Info: JSGME Installed ) but its not working in the game via the Salmon Class or Sargo Class of which it shares some file names with. Any ideas? I visually checked the files and the following file is still using the original colors after install.

Strange problem is that I cannot figure out why its making the entire sub revert back to stock colors since its just the tower area supposedly.:doh: Or is it more that the name implies? I figure its the upgrade tower, but would be nice if you could make it black also when or if you get the time.

I used the same stucture as in the original game.. Black is T01 (early war) and grey (late war) is T02.
NSS_SalmonSargoTower_T02 is for the grey version.. and as you mentioned only tower textures. I don't know why the whole boats goes back to the original texture. Pretty strange :hmm:

If you want the black skin on late war.. just copy all T01 files to a map.
rename them T02 and then put it back in the Salmon map.

That should work..
