Couldn’t help it - the pods must be hatching, but on the flip side it's nice to see an active (and growing) community. :arrgh!:

I was Sooooooooooo tempted to start a Little Billy award thread too, but everyone would have nominated me first.

Cheers!

Syxx_Killer 04-19-07 07:19 PM

I've seen that before on many occasions, but I still gotta see it everytime it's posted. I love it.

Btw, I think this thread should become a sticky! :rotfl:

That voice....the one that tells you its better to post in an existing thread than start a new one...it scares me...

LukeFF 06-06-07 01:40 AM

That video is both hilarious and pure gospel. It really is frustrating trying to find useful threads in this forum when there are 50 ones devoted to the same subject. :nope:

USE THE SEARCH BUTTON FFS!

It is starting to get real hard to read or find usefull "stuff" now that Patch 1.2 is out without reading posts someone else started already. I/We are wasting time that is already there or duplicated. The princlple remains the same on all forum boards.

OK, little Billy? All in good fun!

[p.s. In love with the 1.2 patch]

Hope you get a chuckle out of this.

lol............OMFG subsim roxors the big one111

Iron Budokan 06-06-07 09:59 AM

That was really funny.

Oh this forum is not all that noisy compared to others I participate in.

In the long run probably the best way to deal with repeat "noob" questions is to answer it in brief, or point them to an existing topic then let it (the topic) sink to the bottom.

I'd just like to say that i've used the search on this forum before and i've found it to be next to useless.

sorry sorry sorry for dissing something here but i work in IT, google a lot, use the internet a lot, forums etc and really find the search utility here not to work very well at all.

Is it me....?

Nearly everyone is a newbie from my perspective.

Allow me to expand on that a bit.

The best way to answer any noob question (repeat or otherwise) is to welcome them to Subsim.com, welcome them to Sub Sims in general and then to answer their question as best you can. Either that, or go on to another thread.

New people are the lifeblood and future of our hobby. If I ever see anyone acting like some of the Jackasses that play Falcon 4.0 and treating people they way they do the brig is going fill up real quick.

And I'm talkin' serious brig time.... not Paris Hilton time!
