GWX 1.03 with reduce pos. buoy, light harbour traffic
XRated Pack 0.1 but old sounds
Waiting for drifters repair mod

I'm rather new to sh3 but have done only one or two patrols without gwx since it was the first thing I read about in some german forum where it was declared a must-have. I never tried nygm which I should have of course. But since noone answers something clear if someone asks for the differences between nygm and gwx I don't think they really are that big.

There are at least a couple of more obvious choices: Living SH3 and FF2.3.

And the very same here,GWX is quite possibly one of the best things I've had the goodfortune to download of the net:up:

I live and die (mostly die) by GWX!

I use my own blend. I like things like NYGM's sensors and 'Anti-Hummingbird' mod; I still have a lot of original mods I've used since the beginning; I use GWX's campaign and sea files (or at least I will when I'm up and running again), and like that.

I also use my own set of mods, but mainly patched over NYGM. I have a second install with GWX which I use mainly for 30th Flotilla careers

Seems so... and someone has voted for it... must have been accident...

I am a proud RUB1.45 user.
I use NYGM 2.5 for my Wolves at War personas.
GWX was too much for my dinosaur computer

What is FF2.3?

Posted for clarity.........

@ All

It was not my intent to create a 'mine is better than your's' situation and I deeply respect any mod creator for their ingenuity and capabilities. As I stated in the Poll, I just wanted to know the majority prefference.

I'm always of the opinion that you try before you buy. That is why when we used to get questions about which mod is better, I always replied, 'Try them all'.

I'm sorry if I have somehow offended any mod creator in creating this poll. It was not my intent.

<This is duplicated in the 'which mod to use' thread.>

I´m using GWX with these extra mods
Sobers 3D waves
Ventores Ceeks
Depth Charge Shake v1.03
IXB camo
Longer Wakes v1.0 for GWX
Torpedo Damage Mod
Venatore's Sub Interior Mod
NabMap S B V0.1
Any suggestions for more/better mods ?

robbo180265 04-16-07 04:44 AM

Gwx all the way for me - added a few mods the most important being the one that makes nightime lighter (couldn't see diddlysquat before I found that one:up: )
