Very nice indeed ! I like the brass better too, and you made the front page !
Thank you sir. Because of the very nice screen shot that you posted, might ask those assembled what the "lock" at the left end of the tool bar locks and unlocks ? I can find no reference to its use. My pre-order copy only arrived yesterday giving me some little excuse for my ignorance. I'll still ask stupid questions after I've been fooling around with the game for months, but today I can hide behind this excuse. ;-) Thanks gents, Old Dog |

It will create a mod folder in your sh4 directory when you first run it. Put all compatible mods in here. A compatible mod will be in the folder structure of: Modname\Data So all mods will be in the mods folder: SH4\Mods\Modname\Data Run the JSGME application to activate the mods you want. Get the latest version of JoneSoft Generic Mod enabler here: http://www.users.on.net/%7Ejscones/s...sgme_setup.exe |
Can someone please help? I've installed JSGME and d/l this mod but it will not show up in game. I have JSGME in my main SH4 folder, the mods folder was created and I've put my downloaded mods into this. I run JSGME and activate the mod. When I load the game, it does not show up.
I've used this tool with SH3 so I don't know what's going on. |

There are many small details in the UI in this game that ruin the "1940s" immersion. Nearly all of the icons have a very modern, computerish look, and the push buttons are very 1970's.
So here is a challenge, and I'm not sure how you would do this, but could the buttons be made to look more like somthing you would actually see on a 1930/40s sub, and could the icons have a period feel to them too? (this of course would be less of an issue if they had just put more clickable controls in the 3d interior!) Trout |
great mod

Score!!!

jimimadrid, thanks for your help. I've gotten one mod to work (the small chronometer) but others won't and I believe it is because they are rar files. How do you "un-rar" them??? I appreciate it.
