Whats wrong with uploading to Filefront? They are free and easy to use....don't understand this fixation with Rapidshare. :nope:

You're letting your 'net paranoia get the better of you... Rapidshare, as much as I detest the free version, is blindingly quick when you subscribe, and so far I've had no unsolicited garbage. Well, no more than usual anyway. ;)

Next Version of the Mod will be hosted on normal Webspace. But it's still wip!

EXcellent Sounds! But I'm having a problem..

SInce installing the files I'm getting an annoying sound error. It happens after coming off time compression back to normal time. It sounds like a huge hammer hitting the hull over and over again.

Never had this problem with the original sound files. Any idea what it may be?

We're on our way to figure out what sound is triggering this Bug.

However, some other people are reporting the same sound bug with the original version and unaltered files.

Maybe Ubi will fix it, but we won't wait that long :arrgh!:

And its not about being quick or not...Rapidshare has become impossible to get a free download from. If they don't want to provide free service then they should just suspend it and stop pretending.

I found the sound which is causing the bug. Listen to the Crashdive sound (Submarine_chrashdive_int) with Mediaplayer (orwhatever) and the last 30 ms after Bill Paxton's "VeryWell" are exactly the sound which is playing over and over again.

I removed this 30ms now. if sh4 does it again, i'll hear "Very Well" now all the time...

Apologies in advance to the OP, but, what the hell has any of that got to do with subscribing to Rapidshare?!? If you're accusing them of illegally charging your credit card or whatever, then you have legal recourse to prevent it and penalise them in the process. Otherwise, you're being overly paranoid about what is a very simple online transaction.
