Just so long as everyone is aware that there is going to be an influx of complaints about the sim, regardless of it's condidition. These complaints will, naturally, range from the apt to the ridiculous. We will have our fair share of individuals who will condemn SHIV after an intensive ten-minute playing session, and vow never to play the game again, casting a pox on all of UbiSoft's projects; past, present and future. Strangely enough, they will then return repeatedly over the next six weeks to remind the collective forum of their decision.

Be prepared, and have your selective blinders on, people.

First thing im gona do is complain that the sea is too deep... then that there are too many/not enough clouds in the sky and then im gona complain that the TC x4000 is too fast/slow........... Then il install the game :up:

Too many stickies make the forum look sloppy and the sticky list confusing. The maximum acceptable number of sticky threads is eight, that means I don´t wanna have more than seven regular sticky topics. This leaves space for the occasional temporary sticky or two. danlisa is soon going to start the SH4 signature thread, which will be stickied for two months or so. The eighth sticky will probably be about ordering SH4 through Subsim.

"Things you love or hate about SH4" won´t stay there forever, maybe two months, to give the devs a feedback. "Bugs" will be removed shortly before the final patch comes out. Once a thread gets unstickied there´s space for a new one, then we can think about splitting the "Screenshots and Videos" sticky.

Hahaha. Nice. Personally, I plan to complain about the UPS delivery man first. Then, it's on to the box cover and artwork.

Yup. Pretty soon Gizzmoe will have to get the old mop and broom out.

The old place is probably gonna need a little light house cleaning for the first few weeks.

To be perfectly honest, if it werent for the bugs in Silent Hunter 3, I would never have met all you awesome folk. :up:

It seems some folks just aren't happy unless they have something to complain about, legitimate or otherwise. :)

I agree........ we can also complain that theres nothing to complain about (once ive complained about everything else)

Point is we need two stickies..... one for problems running SH4 and one for general complaints, that way everything is sorted :up:

Oh, I'm sure there will be problems; there always are. People complain they didn't test it enough. Well, it could be released in March 2010. People will complain about real things, and we'll all say (politely) "Can you please fix this?"

And some, as was said before, will within a week be saying "See, I told you so! UBI never gets anything right! Don't buy this piece of $#!+"! Of course the rest will be having a great time sinking the enemy and rescuing pilots and taking photographs and cheering for the next great mod.

Complaints there will always be; whining and condemnation are the tools of spoiled children.
