It's HMCS Bonaventure, She's the same class as the HMAS Sydney and Melbourne Aircraft carriers that Australia had.:up:

fatty 02-19-07 05:03 PM

ASWnut101 02-19-07 06:09 PM

USS Albert David FF-1050 :D

ASWnut101 02-19-07 06:34 PM

Might I ask how?

fatty 02-19-07 08:19 PM

Small ship, American, frigate/DE size, definitely post-war... Two single-mount cannons with one slightly aft, missile launcher of "matchbox" type... Leads me to Garcia-class. By chance I wondered if this was either 1050 or 1048 - the two hulls unmodified to carry LAMPS - because the after structure in the picture is not in the updated hangar configuration.

Which led me to this picture, identical to what you posted above :arrgh!:

ASWnut101 02-19-07 09:11 PM

hehe, now try this:cool::

fatty 02-19-07 09:31 PM

USS Swordfish SSN-579

EDIT: Specifically, departing San Francisco Bay:rotfl:

ASWnut101 02-19-07 09:33 PM

Unbeliveable. And the other?

P.S. You can post some too.:)

fatty 02-19-07 09:44 PM

Your other is a chemical oxygen iodine laser for shooting down bad flying kablewy things mounted on a 747-400F - or as the air force calls it, the YAL-1A AirBorne Laser! I think it is vapourizing a poor North Korean before he can launch on the South.
